COMMENTS:  A smooth writing modern Pelikan. Nib is marked "F" but vs my usual vintge pen stock writes a line a bit plump relative to "vintage" fine. I call it Fine-Medium.

COMMENTS:  OK. So when i buy collections, sometimes i end up with near-modern pens too. Hey, it happens. This one utilizes Visconti's "Power filler" plunger mechanism. The pen is mint unused. Retailed around $650, but this one is just the pen. No Box etc.  Beautiful big modern pens.

COMMENTS:  Nice clean nearmint pen.Original nib grade chalkmark still on gripping setion. Model sticker with code  1003 still on back of cap. Probably a late 1980's pen. I don't focus on Targas but don't mind when they arrive in newly-acquired collections. They are sound pens. The black powder coat sort of finish on this one gives nice feel in hand.

COMMENTS:  A clean 1980's-1990's-ish Sheaffer Targa. I'm no  a Targa collector, though i seem to be stumbling across more of them all the tiem. The finish on this one  I find very appealing.

COMMENTS:  A clean 1980's-1990's Targa. The swirled finish is appealing. Save for the two in this update, i'd not had chance to handle this pattern before. Of course, i handle few Targas.Nib is responsive, giving a bit under pressure

COMMENTS:  Sheaffer Legacy (Legacy II) , a near-modern hefty Sheaffer done in the style of Sheaffer's twenty+-year older PFM series. Touchdown self-filling

COMMENTS:  A modern-ish era MB, this one likely dates to early 1980. Medium monotone MB nib, sweet smooth wet writer.

 
Pen  1195: Sheaffer Imperial. Cadmium Yellow (desirable out of production color)  Fine Point. PRICE: $25 per pen.

COMMENTS :   Cadmium Yellow is one of the better colors in the modern Sheaffer Imperial Series. Featuring styling cues from the old PFM, the Imperial has an inlaid gold plate nib. An excellent entry level fountain pen, in better color, with upgraded nib. The red box is shown "shrunken" in the pic and of course is large enough to hold the pen. Vacumania has several of these in stock, mostly with fine point nibs.  Will offer three pens for $65 if anyone would like to have a couple left over to give as gifts.  Nice modern pens. SOLD OUT

COMMENTS :   Sheaffer Fashion pen in an out-of-production and desireable color, which looks terrific in person. COMMENTS :   Sheaffer Prelude pens of heavy metal construction in out-of-production unusual colors possibly targeted for "college book store" sales.  One each in Red, White and Blue provided in this lot. These retailed around $60 each. Each pen comes with heavy sheaffer gift box (shown smaller than scale, above).  Excellent pens for the bucks.One trio has sold. 1-2 sets left

COMMENTS :   Sheaffer Imperials in their modern incarnation are relatively inexpensive, but still stylish, fountain pens. This batch grades near-mint to mint (some have been inked). Available in a variety of finishes, this batch features steel inlaid nibs and styling cues reminiscent of Sheaffer's vaunted Pen-For-Men line from the early 1960's.  Offered here is a mixed bag of 7 pens, featuring plastic pens with metal trim and some with all-metal caps. EACH PEN is accompanied by a gift box- one of which is shown Shrunken in the picture. SHIPPING IS $10 on these, since all those gift boxes can make for a hefty package.  Nice starter pens. Cartridge/converter fill. $70 the lot.
